Upload Videos and Photos

TikFlow supports multiple upload methods for both videos and photo carousels. This guide covers all available upload options and their requirements.

Supported Upload Methods

Direct Video Upload

Upload video files directly from your computer or device. Requirements:
  • File Format: MP4, MOV, AVI, or other common video formats
  • File Size: Up to 1GB per video
  • Duration: No specific limit (TikTok’s standard limits apply)
  • Resolution: Minimum 540x960 pixels recommended

URL Video Upload

Upload videos from external URLs (YouTube, Vimeo, direct video links, etc.). Requirements:
  • URL Format: Must be a direct video URL or supported platform URL
  • File Size: Up to 1GB after download
  • Supported Platforms: YouTube, Vimeo, and direct MP4/MOV links
Upload photo carousels (slideshow posts) with 1-35 photos. Requirements:
  • File Format: JPG, PNG, or GIF
  • File Size: Up to 10MB per photo
  • Photo Count: 1-35 photos per carousel
  • Resolution: Minimum 1080x1920 pixels recommended

Upload Process

Access Upload Section

Navigate to Upload in your dashboard sidebar.

Choose Upload Method

Select your preferred upload method based on your content type:
  • Video Upload for single videos
  • Photo Carousel for multiple photos

Configure Upload Settings

Fill in the required and optional fields:

Submit Upload

Click Upload and monitor the upload progress in your upload history.

Upload limits reset monthly on your subscription anniversary date. Exceeding your limit will prevent new uploads until the next cycle.

Common Upload Issues

Video Processing Failed

  • Cause: Corrupted file or unsupported format
  • Solution: Convert your video to MP4 format with H.264 codec

URL Upload Not Working

  • Cause: Private URL or unsupported platform
  • Solution: Use a direct public video URL or download and upload directly
  • Cause: Low resolution photos
  • Solution: Use photos with minimum 1080x1920 resolution

Upload Stuck in Processing

  • Cause: Large file size or network issues
  • Solution: Check your internet connection and try again, or split large videos into smaller segments
All uploaded content is processed securely and stored temporarily during processing. Original files are not stored permanently on our servers.

  • Schedule your content for optimal posting times
  • Edit video details before publishing
  • Track upload status and performance in your analytics dashboard
  • Delete failed or unwanted uploads
